You Can Count on Mother Goose ImageMath! The word strikes terror in the hearts of millions of adults. But a delightful new program gives parents a second – and very enjoyable – look at ways to make mathematics part of the family's everyday experiences.

You Can Count on Mother Goose uses picture books such as Mathers' rib–tickling Lottie's Beach Towel to investigate problem solving, Stock's evocative African tale Where Are You Going Manyoni? to explore shapes and spaces, and Tombert's hilarious Just a Little Bit to understand measuring and estimating. Next, the activity guide provides interesting activities that introduce children to the concepts and help adults and preschool children make math thinking and conversation part of their everyday life. The math kit is chock full of resources that will make math–talk as fun as it is thought–provoking. The books and activities are appropriate for children ages 3 – 7.

Each You Can Count on Mother Goose program includes a set of books (listed below), an activity guide, a math kit and a canvas bag.
