The Choose to Read Production Committee was appointed to determine how to implement and promote the program. This committee was made up of representatives from The State Library of Ohio, Ohioana, Ohio Center for the Book @ Cleveland Public Library, WOSU Public Media, The Ohio Channel, and Public Libraries. This committee first met on October 10, 2008. Our overall goals were to:
- Delineate our audience and craft our message
- Determine a marketing timeline
- Determine specific dates for the program
- Create resources for the CTRO website
- Determine methods for evaluation of the program
