Materials
Books in business areas such as "how to start a small business" and employment information like resume writing, cover letters, interviewing, and career books.
Programming
Job and career programming toolkits geared toward professional and public service staff with “lesson plans”, templates, and handouts to develop robust job and career programs for patrons.
Create partnerships with local chambers of commerce, Kiwanis, or similar organizations, for resume review nights.
Provide grants and funding information
"Job-Hunting Basics" check sheets
Career counseling
Choosing a career path (the standard tests and other methods for figuring out what you're suited for)
Support group with weekly sessions to talk about job search experiences

o How to write a resume
o How to write a cover letter
o How to fill out online applications
o Job interview skills
o Microsoft Office applications, specifically Word and Excel
