The Ohio chapter of the Association of College and Research Libraries provides support, encouragement, and continuing education opportunities for academic library staff from all over Ohio through our workshops, annual conference and other programs.

The Ohio Library Council is the statewide professional association which represents the interests of Ohio's public libraries as well as their trustees, Friends and staffs. 

The Ohio Educational Library Media Association is a statewide association for school librarians and teachers. OELMA provides advocacy, support, and continuing education opportunities.

OHIONET is a library membership organization of academic, public, school and special libraries in Ohio, West Virginia, and western Pennsylvania.   OHIONET provides value to libraries and information centers through innovative technology solutions, programs, products, training and consulting.  They respond to member needs with experience, knowledge and creativity to support effective resource management.

The Ohio Health Sciences Library Association serves Ohio health and information professionals in academic, hospital, and other environments. OHSLA provides statewide networking with other health information professionals and opportunities for cooperative ventures with other health science libraries, CE programs, and promotes the views and concerns of Ohio health sciences librarians to the state, region, and nation.

OLSSI

The Ohio Library Support Staff Institute (OLSSI) is a dedicated group of individuals from all varieties of Ohio libraries including school, special, public, and academic. They volunteer their time and energy each year to organize an annual, residential, multi-day conference for library support staff.

OCLIS

The Ohio Council of Library Information Service Organizations serves Ohio library groups and larger associations with Ohio based chapters. The purpose of OCLIS is to foster closer cooperation among and understanding o fthe statewide member groups.
