Helping Books Connection is a resource center for families, librarians, teachers, social workers, and other caring adults to find and use quality children's literature as a tool for individual and group discussion activities.  The Helping Books Connection Literature Database is an index of fiction and nonfiction titles covering topics that focus on ethical and social issues, character education, values, and personal and family issues relevant to young people. Helping Books Connection supports the Helping Books/Helping Families program (link to program manual).

History in the Heartland brings together American history teachers from fifty-three Ohio school districts, in partnership with the Ohio State University's four regional campuses and the Ohio Historical Society, to promote learning about Ohio history.
 
NEO-RLS offers its youth services support resources, including programming kits and Book Looks, plus links to other helpful resources for youth services librarians.
 
NORWELD offers a bibliography of 120 resources for youth services librarians, including art activities, puppetry, readers' theatre, outreach, programs for parents, and more.
  
Designed as an online scrapbook of Ohio history, this site includes over 75,000 primary sources that document all aspects of Ohio’s history, from prehistory through the present.
 
Founded in 1986, OOPS goals are to preserve and perpetuate the art of storytelling, host an annual Ohio conference, and identify and promote storytellers. The site also includes a directory of storytellers.
 
SWON Libraries offer the Program Planners Network, a directory of adult and children’s programs, mostly from the Cincinnati area. The database includes a variety of performers – storytellers, cultural, music, educational, and much more.
